Sustainability is an important topic for Prestalo and therefore it was natural to initiate the process of joining Red Acoge. Happily, the plan to join has now come to fruition – Prestalo has now been approved as an official member. With more than 11 different nationalities represented within the company, diversity is a matter that is especially prioritized. Therefore, it was natural to join the organisation.
Red Acoge was founded in 1991 and it is a federation of organisations specialized in the social inclusion of migrants. Their goal is to promote equal treatment of people and removing obstacles in order to achieve equality for immigrants. Currently, the network is a federation of 18 organisations, spread throughout Spain. Red Acoge is a volunteer organization with more than 1,000 active volunteers.
